The Evaluate teacher performance data collection tool (developed by Global Scholar) plays a critical role in our ability to implement and execute on our TCRP goals. Data from the EVALUATE system will be integrated through the data warehouse with other data systems (e.g. Data Director, PowerSchool, HRIS etc.) to provide teacher effectiveness data that drives decision-making. Specifically, this system will allow the Alliance to:
- Maximize the efficiency of the teacher performance evaluation process
- Implement a transparent process in which teachers can access real-time performance data to drive their professional growth
- Use teacher performance data (Alliance-wide, school-wide, and grade-level or department-wide) to drive professional development decisions and investments
- Integrate teacher performance data into the HRIS system to guide compensation and other personnel decisions
- Link teacher and student performance data to better understand the teacher’s impact on achievement and plan for success
- Monitor rater certification and implementation of the evaluation process in order to ensure a fair, reliable, and valid process
