The Alliance for College Ready Public Schools, through The College-Ready Promise, is committed to improving the college-readiness rates of their students, ensuring that students who continue on to higher education are fully prepared to enter college-level courses. To achieve this, the Alliance is undertaking the several interrelated initiatives to ensure that all of our teachers are highly effective and can accelerate academic progress for students who enter school far behind grade level. The goal of the Teacher College Ready is to increase student achievement by:
- Setting clear standards and raising the bar for instructional excellence across the organization
- Retaining highly effective teachers through recognition & reward
- Reinforcing the value the Alliance places on great teaching
